ClassDeck

Terms of Service

Effective August 27, 2026

These Terms govern your use of ClassDeck ("ClassDeck," "we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use ClassDeck.

1. What ClassDeck is

ClassDeck is a personal organizer for college students — classes, resources, to-dos, reminders, a calendar, optional Canvas syncing, and an AI-generated daily review. It's a tool to help you keep track of your own schedule and work, not an official record of any course, grade, or institution.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use ClassDeck. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Each account is for one person — don't share your login.

You must provide an accurate email address, and you're responsible for keeping it up to date.

3. Subscriptions and billing

New accounts get a free trial. Referral links may extend that trial for both the referrer and the new signup — current terms for both are shown in the app and may change over time.

After your trial ends, continued access requires an active paid subscription, currently billed monthly. Payments are processed by Stripe; ClassDeck never receives or stores your full card details.

You can cancel at any time by contacting us — access continues through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

4. Your content

You own what you enter into ClassDeck — your classes, to-dos, reminders, and anything else you add. By using the app, you give us the limited permission needed to store, process, and display that content back to you, sync it from a Canvas feed you've connected, and (only when you request it) send a summary of your own schedule and to-dos to Google's Gemini API to generate your daily review.

You're responsible for what you enter. Don't upload content you don't have the right to use, or anything illegal, harassing, or harmful.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials or the referral program
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service
  • Use ClassDeck for anything illegal or that violates your school's policies

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Third-party services

ClassDeck relies on third-party providers — Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, and Google (for AI features) — to operate. We're not responsible for outages or issues on their end, though we'll do our best to keep things running smoothly regardless.

7. No warranty

ClassDeck is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content (like the daily review) is a summary tool, not a guaranteed-accurate source — always double-check anything time-sensitive against your actual course materials. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ClassDeck isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including a missed assignment, class, or deadline. ClassDeck is a personal organizing tool, not a substitute for checking official course sources.

9. Termination

You can stop using ClassDeck and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ClassDeck grows. We'll update the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know within the app.
